Moreover, we spend an entire lifetime trying to prove ourselves to others, considering how it takes a lot of time to prove yourself to others while it takes only seconds to undermine all of what we built in terms of public persona, without actually realizing that it takes even longer to figure out one’s true and authentic self. We spend all this time proving ourselves to others, only to find that it takes even longer to figure ourselves out. We remain an enigma and a mystery to ourselves, and it takes a lot more to figure out ourselves after wasting all that time and energy trying to prove ourselves to others. To those who can do nothing for us, given that they are dependent themselves. And in truth, I have only scratched the surface. I am still probing and reaching out for more clues and answers. Not to mention that I still have a lot more time left ahead, and that is proof in and of itself that there is still a lot more to discover and figure out.
