And of course, that was in the pre-digital age when Wall Street in New York and Hollywood in Southern California were the two small bubbles and enclaves where virtually all of America’s influence and wealth and thus power were concentrated. Now, in the digital age, a new power center has emerged: Silicon Valley, which of course took root in Northern California. Content is the new influence and wealth and thus the new power. It used to be dollars on Wall Street and movies from Hollywood. Now, it’s very much content from virtually anywhere. And content is very much global and international. Good content can come from virtually anywhere now. And I’m very much open to the global and international character and nature of content in a digital age, even if others aren’t.
