All along, my aim and goal has been and will continue to be downsizing and minimalizing as much as it is humanly possible, even though it has been a mental and psychological fight and struggle to do so. The inclination and tendency is of course expansion for expansion’s sake. But I believe it would bode better if downsizing and minimalizing as much as it is humanly possible were the road and the path that is assumed and taken. We talk of “affordability” now. “Affordability” is the buzzword in government and media now. But the continued rise in both global population and global demand and the inability to live within one’s means will only exacerbate the issue of “affordability.” So one must adjust and adapt and evolve, lest one perish and collapse and die. It’s a simple and straightforward life decision and strategy that needs to be taken up.
