In the very end, we were left with only four major lifestyle choices. One was the populist mania and mendacity we see today, which does more harm than good. Two is the Marxist ideal that can never be attained but is sought after nevertheless through bitter revolutionary fervor. Three is the liberal illusion and lie which set up the previous two choices. And then there is asceticism and natural religion, which of course is not only the best and optimal choice, but the healthiest and safest one as well.
