Long story short, I would argue that the only thing that has changed since that phone call 20 years ago when I got off the bus, deep state, is basic literacy! The number of books I have read! Nothing else really changed since then. It’s the same old, same old. So we will leave it at that for a while. As Andrew Carnegie said, do not punish the poor man any longer, give him a library. You didn’t want me to have a library. I know. But I got one anyway. And that’s all there is to it.
