And if an alternative to Trump does in fact arise in America over the coming years, their basic platform will have to revolve entirely around the Cold War with Russia and China on one hand and social welfare at home on the other hand and in turn maintaining the fine balance between the two items. Not only maintain a fine balance between the two items, but prove that one can balance the two items better than Trump and his network can, given that this balancing act isn’t entirely lost on Trump and his network for one reason or another. Which might not be such a difficult thing to prove, given how badly things have gone sour in the span of this one year since Trump got elected for a second time. But as we said before, the development of both an alternative and such a network takes time. It does not happen overnight.
