“Marrakesh” in Northwest DC. Moroccan cuisine. One of the hardest cuisines to find in this area is Moroccan for some reason. The decor and the mural on the wall drew me in. It’s exactly what I was looking for. Aesthetic and cognitive perfection. We will go with the ‘Merguez’ sandwich. Moroccan sausage, spicy. The paella was on my mind too, but we will save it for some other time. Belly dancing on the weekends. Nothing wrong with a little bit of belly dancing and pole dancing once in a while. This is perhaps the replacement of the Moroccan belly dancing restaurant and lounge that once existed near Union Station. The aesthetic and cognitive perfection behind the decor and mural speaks for itself, but of course, you’ll get the review on the food shortly.
