What the basic and broader implications are for the American state and the American global order in terms of the war in Ukraine are now known to everyone. Yet, the state as well as the media make every effort possible to keep it under wraps and to keep it as a secret in the manner by which the former Soviet Union sought to keep it all a secret. The former Soviet Union also sought to keep everything a secret and until the very last moment. And of course, the secrecy intensified right after their withdrawal from Afghanistan. So there you have it.
