Fifth Note to “Guerrilla Warfare”

One war-weary journalist asked for how long Putin intended to wage war. The answer is forever. What one should note is that whenever war breaks out in Europe – which is the case today – it signals a change and transformation in the basic and overall global order, meaning that the balance of power is no longer with Washington or some other European or Western capital, but rather, it is with Moscow and Beijing. An American global order is now being replaced by a Sino-Russian global order. Moreover, every theater of war has its own attributes and peculiarities. But none is as unique and peculiar or even as complex and sophisticated as ‘Theater Europe’ given what we have stated here.
