In the very end, angry populism had absolutely nothing to offer to anyone except the abandonment of Europe and our legal obligations to NATO in order to turn inward to wage an illegal war against minorities at home. But of course, we stressed a long time ago that angry populism had no rational platform or program to offer to anyone, and the Democrats did not heed our message. This past November’s elections, however, along with a drastic narrowing of the margin in the middle of the Bible Belt a few days ago suggests that people in America are beginning to get the point now. Which is an encouraging and positive development. It is never too late to change course and to right the ship per se.
