Dissolve the NATO bloc and perhaps even go to war with Germany and England is what Russia is striving for here. Which means Washington will have to choose and decide whether getting in the way of Russia is worth it or not. In my personal view, and based on my expertise – which of course is the ‘Cold War’ – I feel as though there’s no choice but to get in the way of Russia. But of course, we have an electorate who elected a president in order to get him to get out of Russia’s way. And in America, the people are supposed to decide. So you defer to the will of the American people in the end. And we have to shut up and hold our peace as state apparatchiks who fell out of the good graces of the deep state a long time ago anyway and to bear in our conscience any of the consequences and the impact of the decisions that are ultimately made by the American people.
