Coincidentally, almost everyone in the American system has in unison designated “affordability” as the core issue in state and society at the very moment. Which of course makes sense. I don’t dispute that. But what we should note here is that “affordability” is merely a means to an end. The end is what we are discussing here in this post. And it’s time for everyone to finally reckon with it and to not cancel it and to not cloak and shroud it with liberal warmongering and angry populist evil:
