It follows that corporatism and money erode and eviscerate the arts and education, and yet, the arts and education are the means or the vehicle by which one attains social mobility and wealth, which then explains the “affordability” issue and it explains why Americans feel as though the “good life” and the “art of living” is becoming more and more out of reach for them.
