And to be cynical or skeptical of populist and Marxist revolutionary fervor or zeal, one must be cynical or skeptical towards the basic premise or precept of revolutionary cognitive behavior and thought or towards the core assumption of revolutionary cognitive behavior and thought, namely, the notion or the idea of oppression or even ‘repression.’ Revolutionary fervor or zeal on one hand and the notion or the idea that oppression or repression has taken place in the mind of the revolutionary are two sides of the same coin. Thus, we cannot fully understand why discontent and dissatisfaction would lead to outright revolution against the status quo of affairs in general unless we identify the basic premise and precept or the core assumption of revolutionary cognitive behavior and thought, which of course revolves entirely around the notion or the idea that oppression or repression has taken place one way or another.
