And perhaps in the simplest and most subtle of terms, our analysis and our frame is one of the weaponization of western goodies on one hand matching up against eastern militancy on the other hand. Our assumption up until now has been that the weaponization of western goodies is far more powerful than eastern militancy. But this assumption is dissected and tested just as all other assumptions are dissected and tested by the Russia-Ukraine war. The Russia-Ukraine war is the ultimate test of whether the weaponization of western goodies can overpower eastern militancy. And in my personal view, the weaponization of western goodies will not be able to overpower eastern militancy when all is said and done. The Russia-Ukraine war is the turning point or the pivot in world history whereby the weaponization of western goodies will no longer be able to overpower eastern militancy. But of course, at this point in time, the view is very much a hypothesis that is being tested by the Russia-Ukraine war and how it all plays out over the course of the near to long-term future.
