In essence, conflict and war but guerrilla warfare in particular provides us a lens through which we decipher and view a broader structure or theme of class-consciousness. Arguably, it is class-consciousness which drives the social world at-large forward. Marginalization of an “oppressed” class at the hands of the “oppressor” class leads to a demand on the part of the oppressed class for integration into the oppressor class and a sharing of the “privileges” of the oppressor class. But of course, this demand leads to something even more consequential and significant, namely, the absorption and the envelopment of the oppressor class at the hands of the oppressed class. And this absorption and envelopment of the oppressor class into the hands of the oppressed class stems from a cultural and social richness and wealth on the part of the oppressed class which the oppressor class lacks.
