Eighth Note to “Laila”

Moreover, the goal and the ideal the whole time was to either study or teach at a university like Oxford or Cambridge. But given that this blog is the equivalent of a free Oxford or Cambridge-level education, we met the goal, and the whole project is now under our belt. We move from project to project. First it was getting a master’s degree. Then it was traveling a little bit and writing a book. Then it was this blog. And now, I don’t see any other project lying ahead aside from a retirement and withdrawal to a beachside apartment or villa in Tangier, unless something has not occurred to me or unless I’m missing something. Is there some intermediate goal between carrying this blog project to fruition and a retirement and withdrawal to a beachside apartment or villa in Tangier? I have to reflect on it and think about it.
