Between Washington and Moscow, the world is very much a vacuum. So what happens is that Washington and Moscow seek to topple and replace as many governments as possible in order to control them. But it all culminated to that fateful day in September of 2001 when we went in with bags of freshly printed cash to Panjshir and bribed certain Afghan tribes to topple the government there. And then the rest is history. Russia then turned the tables on us in Afghanistan, and the final Russian blow to us was in Ukraine. There is now no recovery from Ukraine for Washington. The end games and the outcomes of the basic balance of power between Washington and Moscow are now largely clear and self-evident.
