Third Note to “Nigara”

A circle of ambassadors, diplomats, presidential advisors, and ministers, but there is always a first among equals or primus inter pares, which is why it didn’t last very long. My grandmother’s father, who is of course my great-grandfather, was the Afghan equivalent of General Mountbatten. He was the General Mountbatten of the liberal period in Afghanistan. Does anyone know who General Mountbatten is? My grandmother was a trendy smoker in high school, she started smoking cigarettes when she was fifteen, and her half-sister was the first ever female singer and vocalist. So of course, it didn’t last very long with the current “liberal” crowd. My family, but particularly my mother’s side, were celebrity liberal icons, but of a different age and time. This age and time is different of course, and it didn’t last very long as we just said. It all collapsed like a house of cards per se. But at least we picked up one out of two or three celebrity crushes out of it all.
