Arguably, world history as a whole amounts to the religious conversion that results at the end of it all. While in the Eastern world, the religious conversion is largely one that is constituted by a conversion from cosmopolitan mysticism to rural deobandism, the religious conversion in the Western world is constituted by a conversion from bourgeoisie liberalism to populist Nazism. History explains everything for us, only if we are disciplined enough to heed its lessons.
