Either jealousy or hatred explains the behavior and mindset of the beloved. We can perhaps rule out hatred. So we are left with jealousy. But if we continue on this current path, my love, someone else will come to snatch this poor lover up, and jealousy will be topped with regret. So let’s be mature and wise about it.
