But in essence, we must always entertain the possibility or even the reality that there is some sort of intelligent design or even telos associated with globalization and technology. It is the combination of globalization and technology which disturbs and upsets certain elements of the broader social world and international society. But if we look at globalization and technology objectively, we find that the intelligent design or the telos associated with globalization and technology is the dissemination of art along with the facilitation of the expression of what is largely a taboo inner self. It is not about others and how they expect us to portray ourselves to the world. It is about art as well as the authentic expression of what is largely a taboo inner self. Thus, if the combination of globalization and technology is all about art and the expression of a taboo inner self, those who are against globalization and technology are all about the repression and suppression of art and the expression of the taboo inner self. And this is exactly the kind of climate and context in which we find ourselves amidst the broader social world or international society.
