In sum, territorial expansionism and ethno-nationalist identity – “Aryan Nationalism” in particular and to be specific – are mere pretexts for conflict and war. They are conventional and long-standing pretexts for entering into conflict and war with others. But do these conventional and long-standing pretexts for conflict and war justify going into conflict and war with others? And in my humble view, the answer is no. They do not justify entering into conflict and war with others. War is an entirely defensive mechanism or tool. But then again, we have a whole history of conflict and war based on territorial expansionism and nationalistic fervor just in the past couple of decades or so here in the United States. And we enable Israel to do it too. So there should be no crying and whining when the chickens come home to roost within NATO itself.
