Upstairs, a replica of the roulette table, movie memorabilia, and another bar. And if you count love and romance as a drug and a stimulant rather than a universal emotion or feeling which underpins everything about being human, then together you have the “four major vices” or “char ayb e sharayee” as they say in Farsi, all on display in one small setting. After all, the main goal in life – namely, salvation – is not something that is earned. Rather, salvation is ultimately something that is given to a person, for reasons no one can fully know.
The prawn salad with argan oil dressing, in case you were wondering how it looked. It was great. Probably my favorite restaurant of all time, at least for the moment.
